Influencing Change
There are so many things today that are influencing our lives, and for the most part not even good things. Celebrity's and the media is what influences our lives, we try to be like the models on tv, or in magazines, or try to look as pretty as the girls off of music videos. Today people are doing so many drastic things, which is making our society look horrible. Today, in real life when people write about things that matter, like racism people could care less, they would rather be pretty than be considerate and nice to people.
In the book "To Kill a Mockingbird" it deals a lot with racism. White against black. A black man got accused of doing something he did not do, and when he went to court and everybody knew the truth, he was still guilty just for the simple reason he had colored skin. When I read this book, I felt so bad for the man who was known as guilty for doing absolutely nothing but being born with colored skin. It's just not fair, it's not even his fault that his color is the color is, he did not have control over it.
I think for so many people life would be so much more easier for some if the lessons taught in literature or films could influence our lives today. Just think back to the book , the right people would be in jail, or the right people would have died, but instead they would rather have the person who did wrong be free because of their color.
I wish there could be a change to our society, and that be everyone equal, and without a celebrity or the media having to make the change, but just a regular everyday person. I wish our society was not influenced so easy by the fake, and just let literature take over, the real meaning , and reality take over.

The Christmas Story
Once upon a time, in a far away land there was a little girl named Ali. Ali was a short little native girl, she was very generous, and always helping out whoever she could, even though she belonged to the poorest family of the village.
Christmas was just around the corner, and all the children of the village were so excited, especially Ali. She had her eyes set on this beautiful little doll, with a satin pink dress, and bright blue eyes with the longest curly brown hair. She admired her, and everytime she passed the store window her eyes just lit right up. She wanted it so bad, everytime the family went to town she would beg for the doll , and hope she would find it under her Christmas tree, on Christmas morning. Ali wasn't the only member of the family who was expecting a present under the tree, considering they never ever really got a true Christmas present; Ronan also had his eyes set on the perfect present as well. He wanted a choo-choo train from the same store window, as the beautiful doll.
As it got closer to Christmas the family did more and more charity work to make sure every other family had the perfect Christmas. They were not concerned about themselves what so ever, the children had even forgot about their "perfect christmas presents" just because they loved to make everybody else happy. The last thing they ever wanted to be noticed as, was self centered.
Tomorrow was Christmas eve, and Ronan had just caught an awful sickness. No doctor knew what was wrong with him, some had even thought it was deathly. This Christmas was going to be the worst. Ronan never left his bed, he just layed there and felt useless as his family catered to him. Ali got more and more worried as the day carried on, and had the need to go do something. So she went to her room broke her piggy bank, she had thirteen dollars in change that she had been saving up for the past two years, for when it would be useful. Ali crashed out of the house and ran to the store. After she returned she placed a carefully wrapped box under the Christmas tree, with a tag "To: Ronan, LOVE ALI".
The next moring when the kids woke up, Ronan was not himself. He was slowly dying ... Ali knew what was going on , so before it was too late, she told Ronan that she wanted him to have the best Christmas yet. So she ran to their living room grabbed the single present under the tree and gave it to Ronan. He took care in opening the gift, as he saw what was inside he lit up, looked at Ali slowly and said "Thank you Ali, I love it and you, Merry Christm-a-a-a-a-s-s-s-s". His eyes closed slowly, and he was gone. Ali knew he liked his present, and as she carefully ran her fingers through his hair she thought to herself how much fun he would have had playing with his new train when he was all better ........

Meet Oligah
Have you ever wondered how your favorite show could change, with just one more character. Hannah Montana is one of the most popular shows for teens, and children, and I would love to create a new character for this show. An alien girl; she will be an alien during the night while everyone sleeps, and girl during the day. She will be just like another Hannah , having a huge secret to having to keep hidden from the world, except larger .. a huge secret, that would ruin her life.
Oligah, is a very pink short and sweet alien. While being her alien self, she is as I just said pink, with long pink hair. Her eyes are located in her head, and she does have two she is not like those wacky looking aliens, just a normal person .. but pink. Oligah likes to stand up for herself , she is very strong minded, and belives in herself, and will make sure she accomplishes all of her wishes. During the day, while she is a girl , she is tanned with long brown hair and big blue eyes. Oligahs girl version of her personality , is slighty different, she still likes to accomplish all, but is not very outgoing, she is extremely shy, but if you put her in a difficult situation where she gets frusterated, or she is being made a fool, she will speak her mind, and say exactly what she thinks.
Oligah is very similar to Hannah, forgetting the fact she is an alien. She has a secret that she has to keep from the world, and will have to go through many different obstacles, just as Hannah does each and every day. Hannah and Oligah are going to be very good friends, her and Lily will be great friends as well .. almost like a new "trio". And as always with a new girl in town , Jackson will try to date her , however this time with Jackson he will really like Oligah, and they will go out for a really long time.
I think Oligah is the perfect new character for this show. She will add just the last bit of dramatic sense thats left to be added. I think she is the perfect addition for Hannah Montana !

The Review: The five best or the five worst ~- Top five Justin Bieber songs
# 5 ~~ Love Me
- I chose this as number five because it is one of my favorites, but not my very favorite. This song is just dedicated to basically every girl that considers themselves a "Justin fan". It doesn't really have a meaning it is just saying "love me love me, say that you love me" in a way that Justin Bieber is really trying to find a girl that he can love, and give her everything and this is why most of his songs have to do with "puppy love" as he says.
# 4 ~~ Down to Earth
- This song is my number four favorite, only because I can't really relate to it. Justin wrote this song about his parents divorce. He was really hurt by it, and wishes he could still have both of his parents together, in one. Throughout this song he says "Mommy you were always somewhere, and Daddy I live outta town, so tell me how could I ever be normal somehow? You tell me this is for the best, so why am I in tears?" this is somewhat sad because he is really showing that he does want to be a normal kid, but he cant with the divorce separating his parents.
#3 ~~ One Less Lonely Girl
- One Less Lonely Girl is at number three. This song is about Justin saying if he could have "this girl" that she could be his, and she would be one less lonely girl in the world. I really like this song, and its video. In the video Justin and this girl are looking at each other, and they're really staring each other down, they think each other is cute, but they don't really say anything. Then the girl leaves the laundromat and drops her scarf Justin picks it up , and leaves a note behind him. When the girl returns the next day, Justin is not there, she's sad but looks up and sees the note it says "If you want you scarf come find me, xoxo". After this basically she goes out in a trail and after following all the notes she finds Justin back in the laundromat all done in a "romantic" scene, and that's basically it. (This song is also done in a french version, which is also very good!)
#2 ~~ First Dance / Favorite Girl
- There is a tie for my number two favorites, the tie is between First Dance, and Favorite Girl. First I'll talk about first dance; this song is about a slow dance at a prom. It talks about he wants to have a perfect first dance at his prom, with the perfect girl. The other one is Favorite Girl, and its just basically talking about his specific "favorite girl" but is not meanted for a specific girl. My favorite lyrics of the song is "You're used to going out your way to impress these Mr. Wrongs but you can be yourself with me, I'll take you as you are, I know they said believe in love, is a dream that can't be real so girl let's write a fairy tale, And show 'em how it feels" which is saying your always going out to impress the one that you think is good for you , but isnt, and your trying to be somebody your not. But Justin says you can be yourself with him, you dont need to be anybody else because he will love you just the way you are, and there is no more impressing needed.
#1 ~~ One Time
- One Time is my favorite Justin Bieber song, it was the first one (song) of Justin Bieber's that I heard. This song is the reason for my obsession. This song is about a girl, but none in specific. Lyrics : "When I met you girl, my heart went knock knock, now them butterflies in my stomach wont stop stop, even though its a struggle love is all we got, so we gon' keep keep climbing to the mountain top". This song is basically just about Justin telling a girl one time that he "loves her".

5 out of 10
One Change ~ If I could change one thing, that I have done in the past couple of months, or weeks, or even days, it would be to delete text messages. A day ago, I was talking with my mom when she started saying some weird things, and she told me she read my text messages. There could be nothing worse then your own mother reading your text messages, its just a creepy move on her behalf. So from now on I have promised myself to delete my text messages from now on, so she will no longer be able to "creep" them.
Super Hero ~ As a toddler, I do believe my biggest dream was to be a superhero, to be able to fly, and stick to walls like spiderman, or even to be able to save people, and make them happy. I have always considered the tooth fairy a superhero, she makes kids happy all over the world, and even helps convincing kids that loosing teeth is not all that bad, so if I could be any superhero I would choose to be the toothfairy.
Winter - Love it or Hate it? ~ Winter is my favorite season of the whole year! I get so excited, thrilled when the first snowflakes fall. Winter is always so much fun! Sliding, and skating, maybe even skiing for some, and also just fooling around in the snow. So many people hate snow, just because it messes up the roads, but other than that what else could ever be wrong with it? It's fun !! I love winter!
It is Twilight Time ! ~ Everbody is so twilight crazy, "team edward" "team jacob" is all you ever hear about, and I personally think its ridiculous. The whole twilight thing didn't even slack off, people are still obsessed from three years ago, and they need to get over it. I think its great now that the twilight series are over, so maybe there obsessiveness will slacken off. I have refused to even read the "Twilight" series, because I'm scared that I will become one of those obbsessive freaks.
Stranded ~ If I could be stranded somewhere with nothing, and could only choose one person to have with me, I would choose Michaela Jardine, for the simple reason she would keep me entertained. I would have a dull time with anybody else, just because she can make a joke out of anything, and thats why I would choose Michaela to be stranded on a desert with me.

JuMbLe StOrY -~-
Boom! Crash! Bang! "This lightening and thunder is going to be the life of me!" The old ninety three year old snaggle toothed thing beside yelped as she wined as the storm outside continued. It was my wedding day, and we were just about to place the rings on each others fingers when the thunder began and the lights flickered, and eventually went out. What a great day for a wedding I must say.
The thunder continued, and I said if i didn't hit this old lady beside me before the night was over, she'll be lucky. Besides that, this was not the only event going on, it was my wedding day, the power was out, this old lady was screaming her head off, not only about the power either, but somebody stole her purse!
We were all waiting anxiously, for the power to come back on, so we could get everything situated and back on the road. The old lady was wandering around tripping and yelping over things to find her purse; and to make things all the better , the purse was black along with the room. First flicker, then the second, thirrrd, yesssss !
POWER!!! The power was finally back on, and after all the screaming and yelping I come to find that the purse was right beside that 93 year old freak. I was furiated with her, she ruined half of my wedding by tearing it all down, from being all worked up and tripping over anything that came underneath her feet. However at the end of the day we were all relieved and everything was back to normal.

How to Video Response
The how to video I watched was "How to Tie Your Shoes" overwell it was fairly well done, but I think there was a lot of junk that was not needed at the beginning. The could have just simply skipped all that and moved to the beginning, it would actually make it a lot shorter, and would get to the point, and what the audience is looking for faster. How ever it does show how to tie your shoes at a very good pace, and by simple steps.
The camera shots are not all that impressive, and I really dont think the music suits the video , howver it is a well done video, and you can easily learn how to tie your shoes.

Northrop Frye -- His beginning ~
"Literature is the world of the imagination — the place where anything goes that's imaginatively possible, but nothing really happens."— The Educated Imagination
"There are two halves to literary experience…imagination gives us both a better and a worse world than the one we usually live with, and demands that we keep looking steadily at them both."— The Educated Imagination
These were only a few quotes from our top elf, here at the North Pole, said Santa as he continued on about all his precious little elves. Northrop is so imaginative, and creative, I don't know what or how we would have came up with our whole North Pole/Santa Clause idea, nicely done again Northrop! We really owe it to you.
As Northrop continues to listen to Santa rave about his amazingness he just sits back and enjoys it. But then, right at that second he gets this wonderful idea, and stands to share " Fellow elves, Santa, I have just came up with an idea that I think everyone will enjoy", Santa just starts to glow as he's always loved Northrop's ideas... "How about we have a festival, a writing festival?" Santa gets more and more curious. "We all know how much I love to write, and I think I could influence a lot of people with my passion for writing, we could call it the 'Frye Festival' how does it sound Santa, everyone could participate ! Elves, you and Mrs.Clause, and the children all over the world, what do you say Santa !?"
It took some time for Santa to really think about this, and consider everything, but he realized how much fun it could be, and there could be prizes! Also how much of a good thing it would be for students, and children and everyone to get involved in... So, at that point Santa called Northrop into his office, and they discussed everything that they would need to do to get this show on the road. "Ho! Ho! Ho! I love your ideas, your such an amazing little elf Northrop", Santa exclaimed for about the hundredth time that day.
After a couple of months the 'Frye Festival' was all complete we had come up with a few great essay topics including texting, weather , and many others, or another option is to write about Northrop; a short story. I was so excited to give out the posters, and fill in everyone about this great event! Soon enough it would be here, and we could do it every year! It could be a tradition every year children from everywhere come together and listen to literature, and they can write stories and win! It's a great way to pull them in, to get them interested in reading and writing!
Soon enough Santa would be all over the world, and back again, so we had to finish the toys super fast! Then while we were suppose to have January off, after our hard work all year, we had to prepare for the 'Frye Festival'. It was going to be hard, not having our break this year but the Frye Festival was definitely going to be worth all of it. We were all working our very hardest to put this all together, and once we had the festival done and decorated, we had to focus on working on our writing. It was a little hard to get going, but we were almost there, and it was almost time.
It was finally time, time when we would all gather together with all of our pieces of work, the celebration together, and everyone was so excited. We were on our way to the Frye Festival. Northrop got out of his seat and went to the stage where he would do the welcome, and open the festival. After he sat down, there were a few guest speakers, and then it was time to get the show on the road; the first person went to the stage and began reading her story ... "Literature is the world of the imagination........"

How to creep ~ Justin Bieber on Twitter
Some people may think that creeping is the worst possible thing you could ever sit and do with your time, however I think it's actually quite fun and entertaining. Its even a good thing to do , if you can find out everything thats going on in Justin Biebers life & guaranteed be the end of this "how to" you'll be the perfect creep.
All you need for this how to, is a computer, and access to the internet.
I'm going to teach you , how to be the perfect creep of Justin Bieber.
Step One -- Go to the computer, get online, and go on twitter, and find "@justinbieber"
Step Two -- Once you get there, follow him, and creep all his tweets.
Step Three -- Creeping his tweets are quite simple. Go to the very bottom the there will be a button that says "more" keep clickin it , until you get far enough down , and you'd like to actually start creeping.
Step Four -- Begin reading (if you see a lot of "tweets" that have RT infront of them, this means that he is responding to fans, his comments are found after the equal sign)
Step Five -- Once you've read his tweets, you'll probably know lots, since he tweets a lot ! You'll be able to know where he is at all times, when his new songs will be released, also a lot of silly things he likes to tweet about. (Ex: one time, he got so excited for ellen, he ran over to his grandmother and almost tripped, because so excited about seeing the show that day :) )
Step Six -- After your finished creeping tweets you can check who he follows, if they're from Stratford Ontario, its most likely his real friends, from before he became famous. If you find any, creep them, because they often talk to Justin, and you can see what he's like in reality.
Step Seven -- If you find someone like "Chaz" (Justins best friend) you could then creep his profile because he has a lot of Justins other friends.
If you follow all these steps, its guarteed you will know just about everything Justin Bieber does in a daily basis, who his friends are, and what kind of fun things he does in a day.

Teenage Pregnancy Issues --
I personally think when teenage girls remain in public schools, with younger children, it does put a major influence on other young girls. A lot of the girls will get the idea that if this girl is going to have a baby then it may be okay for them too. We never know with children these days, they can and will get anything they try for, and who knows if they really did want a baby bad enough, they probably could find a w\ay to do this, I don’t mean children as in elementary, but higher middle school level. They still may not know the difference. I believe that the perfect place for young teenage girls who still have a remainder of school left , should go to learning centers, for many obvious reasons.
Learning centers are a great place for teenage girls. For many, many reasons. One being at public schools, some teenagers are to the extreme nasty, and will do a lot of teasing, where as in a learning centers the girls would be surrounded by people just like them, and will feel perfectly comfortable. Some girls may not like the idea of going to a learning center, as it will make them feel out of place, but when you’re walking around in a public school, with a huge baby belly and only at the age of possibly fifteen, there is going to be worse case scenarios there than anywhere else.
We all know, a girl cannot get pregnant by herself, therefore it is not only her responsibility. So now the theory is should the father be made to leave school as well, and go to the learning center with the mother? I believe he should, why should she have to leave all her friends, and go to another school by herself, when partially she, herself didn’t put herself into the problem alone.
At the end of the day, we all know that every person is equal, however not all people consider things like that. We all know things happen for a reason, and maybe things don’t turn out like we want them to, but there is absolutely nothing we can do. Maybe it is best the girls go to another school, just for the simple reasons, we don’t want everybody to make the same mistakes we did, and we do want people to go outside of their door feeling comfortable , and confident about themselves.

Because He's Black ●○●
With this piece having thirteen paragraphs , the very first paragraph caught my attention for sure. It started out telling me which day it was , and how they were nervous to go to school, becuase of color, and seeing that a black man, had just got the honor of president of the United States of America. Also how it would be a hard day for the races, they blacks would be bragging, and the whites would have to deal with it. They make the topic very clear, in the first couple of lines; racism.
This whole piece was put together great ! Everything related to the thesis statement. The author gives lots of information about the percentages of votes, and how racist we really are, how everything is just falling apart piece by piece. An example of this would be: " The overwhelming responses were from McCain supporters who believed Obama won “just because he is black.” This is racism to the extreme, and it's something thats becoming a huge issue, and eventually it's going to get worse, and worse ..
The author somewhat backs up their information with what they know and researched on the pst oresidents, and how the votes went according to race. The writer does seem to understand why people are so racist, but she makes it very clear that it doesnt matter, everybody is equal.
I think this article was very well done, I could not find any mistakes, i agreed with everything they had to say! I liked it because it really has become a huge issue, and to me it's silly, everybody has value, and they should not be treated like dirt just becasue of their color.

Telling the Story ~*
Today was the day, the day I was finally going to go to my first circus! I've been waiting for this day for so long, to see all those silly goofy clowns with the big red noses, and those huge clumsy elephants, I just simply could not wait!
I got ready as quick as possible, as my mom was roaring my name for me to hurry. I quickly threw on my favorite t-shirt, brushed my teeth, and ran out the door. We drove for quite a long time, or what seemed a long time, until we finally got to the humongous red circus tent. You know me , I wanted to do some exploring, so my mom went inside to get our seats, while I snuck off to the other side of the tent, where all the actors, and clowns, and animals could be found.
When I got there, a furry brown dog tripped me, and snatched my lollipop right out of my hand, I most definitely wasn't going to let him just run off with it, I wanted it back! So of course, the dog ran the other way and I chased him. First we ran through a colorful tepee, then through an old mans shed(which was extremely dirty) and then over a lawn chair, and through the bushes! Finally, i chased him all over the park and over two cars, until I caught him, and was in the middle of nowhere.
My heart was beating like there was going to be no tomorrow, the circus! I forgot about it, and chased this silly dog , until I got lost! What am I ever going to do ? I know! I'll retrace my steps... Okay, so after my mom went in the red tent, I took off, and thats when that dumb dog took my lollipop, so after that we went through that weird tepee, oh and that old mans shed. Then over those lawn chairs, and finally through the bushes, and all over the park.. then the very last thing was when we went over two cars.
Look! Theres the two cars ! I quickly scrambled over them, and through the park, and back through the bushes , and over the lawn chairs. I could see it! I can see the big red circus tent! I ran back to that tent super fast, and i made it just in time for the final act, what a relief. As the circus finished up , and i got home, I thought to myself , what a day ..

Our Diary ~ ♥
Ever felt scared to go outside of your own door? Or to come out and say what you really want, to feel comfortable around the people you try to associate with everyday? Maybe even to tell the truth...
This is exactly the way it is with, "The Freedom Writers", a great movie. It starts out with a disruptive class, who act like they have no feelings, concerns, or problems, but it's the exact opposite; every single person in this class has a problem. Eva Benitez hates white people, because she feels they can do whatever they want, because she feels they are capable of everything, and anything to make the blacks miserable. Another has the same feelings against blacks. It's seems horrible; the classroom is even divided up, the whites and the blacks, the nerds, and the big shots.
Things all change, when they get a new teacher; Mrs.Gruwell. She thinks she has something special, and can switch the whole classroom around, however when the school refuses to give her texts because they feel these kids are "impossible", she gets so frustrated, because she believes this is the reason they're not trying, because they know that people don't believe in them, and just look down upon them.
The music really empathizes the movie, gives it feeling. When there's gang fights, there's exactly the right music at the right time, when the kids are frustrated, when they're happy, when they're getting silly .. it has everything, its perfect!
This movie has excellent actors! The main characters of this film are Hilary Swank who plays as Erin, also know as the teacher Mrs.Gruwell , Patrick Dempsey who plays Erin's husband. Some other characters consist of Scott Glen (Erin's Father), Margaret Campbell (Erin's Co-worker), and also April Lee Hernandez (Eva, a student).
I also think there is a very important theme to this movie , and that is "Never give up" and that would be on Mrs.Gruwells part. This is very self explanatory; she never once gave up on these kids, she even went and got two extra jobs to be able to buy them their very own text books, reading books, and also very nice and expensive field trips. Did it all work out in the end, was she able to flip the tables, and turn each and every person around, does the class all come together as one .. watch the movie to find out !

Will they ever make it to the Stone of Dreams ..
I had been looking at the movie reviews for the movie , "Wizards of Waverly Place" . Most of them were pretty dull , and I really could not choose one that really stood out . This is a really great movie , it's always pulling you in , wanting to keep you watching.
However, the movie review i chose was from "kidstvmovies" , and I found they did a fairly well job, about not spoiling the ending. Their last sentence " Unfortunately, if the kids don't succeed in about 48 hours or less, they will disappear forever " , to me really stood out. I think this sentence is really going to make the reader want to watch this movie, they left you wondering if they really are going to make it to the dream of stones or not.
Another thing I liked about this review, was that they kept it short and sweet . They tell you enough , so you know what the movie is based on , but yet they leave you with a hanging conclusion. I would never like to sit and read this huge long movie review, because basically by then you would know how the movie is going to end..

Michaela Jardine
he night, until it's alright again, you're a true friend."I have one best friend, she's been with me through everything, she never leaves my side. Her name is Michaela Jardine, she is 14 years old , and comes from a family consisting of her two parents, a fluffy white dog , and 3 other girls. She has medium length brown hair , hazel eyes, glasses; she's very pretty . Michaela has a phenomenal personality; she's constantly laughing, and smiling. This is one of her best traits, it's truly what makes her, who she is.
I would be completely lost without Michaela; she's everything I ever dreamed of having as a best friend. She's trustworthy, honest and loyal. I trust her with everything, and she does the same with me, we never hold back on anything. She's honest and loyal, I've never heard her do anything that I would have never wanted her to do, or say, she's perfect ..
She's a very strong girl , she doesn't care what people think of her , if they don't like her , she'd just sit and laugh at them, before she would let it hurt her. However if someone were to say something that she wouldn't like, she would never ever hold back . But she never gives up, she keeps trying 'till she has what she's wanted .
She's my best friend , and I know I would never be the person I am today if she was never in my life , we have so many memories , and inside jokes , i really just dont know what I would or could ever do without her !
~ Love you tons ! Don't ever change , you're perfect just the way you are ~
